Infrared Home Inspection - Why Do I Want One
A Thermal Imaging Scan allows the inspector to see what the naked eye cannot. Because the infrared camera can see heat signature differences, it can see potential problems that otherwise might be missed by the naked eye. One wire might be hotter than others suggesting faulty wiring or some other potential electrical problem. It might even identify a fire hazard. An Infrared Home Inspection is also capable of revealing plumbing leaks and water damage. The heat signature difference is readily visible with our thermal imaging equipment. We can identify heating and cooling related problems such as energy loss, energy gain and insulation problems. Everyone should want infrared included as part of their home inspection. It could save a bunch of future money.
